Plans Dry Up For Breast Milk Bank

Yes, that's the actual title of the article reporting that plans to open China's first human breast milk bank have been suspended (suspended?! OK, no bra jokes!).

The article also reports a decline in breastfeeding in China. I bet the milk/formula scandals will reverse that trend.

I don't have time for the article right now, but I have to read this one. It is too bad that it is not getting off the ground; it is not like surrogate milk is uncommon or a new idea there (or in many cultural traditions). Breast milk is better for children.

I think you are right, that trend may change quickly--maybe an underground breast milk trade or more live in wet nurses.
